Friday last week was a bit of a shock for many fans who live loud with 5FM, when it was revealed that long-standing Ulitimix resident, DJ Kent, had mixed his last for the station. Though 5FM is sorry to lose DJ Kent as the regular start to the weekend during The Roger Goode Show’s Happy Hour every Friday, the station wants to affirm that the mad skills of DJ Kent are not lost to 5FM for long.DJ Kent is taking the production studio by storm in 2015 and has had to cut back on his regular DJ commitments in order to focus on this goal. “It’s been an amazing nine year journey on the Ultimix,” says DJ Kent, “Sadly it must come to an end but people should keep it locked to 5FM to find out more about my future plans and look out for my guest mixes on the Ultimix.”5FM fans will still be able to catch DJ Kent every so often as a guest of the Ultimix on Happy Hour Thursdays and fans should look out for special edition weekend shows where he will be invited to host three full hours of weekend party on the airwaves. 5FM will keep you in the circle of trust on when those dates will be.5FM’s Happy Hour feature on The Roger Goode Show will feature a double dose of the Goode Doctor on Fridays starting today.
