Anime character design byPLOT:plans on starting at a regular high school but “accidentally” gets a ticket for the wrong bus. He ends up at the Yokai Academy. While on his way there he notices that this “private school” is set in the wrong side of a tunnel. No cell phone service. No kids that he knows. Nothing familiar at all. It turns out that Yokai Academy is a school for monsters, which is enclosed in an invisible barrier.
Humans shouldn’t be able to see or get through to the school and “should” be killed immediately once setting foot on the campus. However, Tsukune finds that he is an exception to the rule.Before he even gets to the school he runs into (a vampire) who attends the school. They bond (over a bit of blood) and the fact that it’s both their first year.
She normally drinks tomato juice, which can sustain her, but whenever she gets a whiff of Tsukune’s blood, she always has to have a bite. She also has a cross as a necklace which keeps her in human form. When the necklace gets taken off (and it does often), her true form appears – which isn’t nearly as sweet and innocent as her human form.Tsukune soon finds out that most of the monsters that attend the academy (the teachers as well) hate humans and are frustrated at the fact that they have to learn how to coexist with these wimpy beings.
Will Tsukune live through this? Can he win over the various monsters that he meets at the academy? Why was he able to get across the barrier?CHARACTERS:is the main hero of the story. He’s an average, human teenager (who was unable to get into any of his local high schools). His father finds an enrollment form for Yokai Academy while coming home (drunk) one day so Tsukune enrolls – not knowing what he’s getting into. He befriends Moka and is unsure of his place in the school before she (and their friends) convince him to stay.is the main heroine of the story.

She is Tsukune’s love interest. When her rosary is removed, her personality (and hair color) change into a ruthless vampire.is a busty succubus who is determined to seduce Tsukune due to the attention that he receives from Moka, in addition to his sweet personality (which eventually wins her over).

Her original plan is to enslave all of the boys at Yokai Academy but she soon changes her mind after meeting Tsukune. She is the one of the last of her kind (of succubus) and is worried about her family line ending.an eleven-year-old witch who is also a genius. She is dressed like a typical witch and is often made fun of by the other students because she is so smart and young. She often tricks her school mates and pulls horrible pranks on them because of her childishness but soon learns the error of her ways along with some other lessons.a snow fairy who becomes obsessed with Tsukune.
