The beauty of the EICO 235 Pro is; the Calibration pots are Accessible from the Right Side of the Enclosure (See the Holes in the PIC) This allows you to set a voltage precisely to a particular job that you are working on. Very few VTVM's have this ability to adjust from the Outside.
The meter Plexiglass is pristine. The Case is ultra-quality. The Front Rim is solid thick metal and the remainder of the enclosure is super heavy-duty gauge steel.

The case work is far nicer than any VTVM I have encountered such as numerous Heathkits, B&K, PACO, RCA. Someone built it (or updated it) with High quality Orange Drop Capacitors and numerous Metal Film Resistors. This is a VTVM that is ready to be used. How many times have you bought a broken meter without probes & you were told 'It was working the last time I used it, 20 years ago'? - How many times have you bought a broken VTVM thinking that you'll have time to fix it? - How many broken VTVM's do you have laying around?
