Closing in on the perfect pumpkinBrookhaven, GA, October 19 – The sun broke through the clouds Saturday afternoon in Brookhaven to shine on the Brookhaven Christian Church’s Annual Pumpkin Sale.We found the pumpkin patch busy with families on a mission to find that perfect pumpkin to take home. Impressive pumpkins, both large and small, range in price from fifty cents for the miniature variety and go up from there.While you browse the lot, volunteers are ready to answer any questions and to help with loading.The pumpkin patch can be found in the lot of the church which is located at 4500 Peachtree Rd. – at the corner of Peachtree Rd. And Lanier Drive, on the right, just before Oglethorpe University if you’re headed south on Peachtree.It’s easily accessible and the selection is fantastic – and if the kids need a break from pumpkin hunting, there’s a bouncy house on site as well.The lot is open daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM through October 31st.When you visit, be sure to pick up a flyer which gives some tips on keeping your pumpkin fresh and some carving templates as well.
